Alex Hutton

Alex Hutton is one of the UK Jazz’s hidden treasures. A fine composer, with an ear for folk and classical influences, he is a gifted, thoughtful improviser and a mainstay of the London Jazz scene who has worked with the leading figures from Jim Mullen and Pete King to Pete Wareham.

Darren McCarthy

Darren earned his degree at the Leeds College of Music and Masters Degree at The Guildhall School Of Music and Drama. He has established himself on the London jazz scene as a much sought-after bassist working with notable musicians such as; Jean Toussaint (Jazz Messengers) ,Bruce Barth, Pee Wee Ellis, Larry Coryell, Alex Garnett, Leon Greening, Renato D’a iello, Steve Fishwick, Jim Mullen, Ernesto Simpson, Dave Cliff, Emma Smith, and Henry Lowther and outside of the jazz world -Oscar Winner Glen Hansard, Andrew Philpott (Depeche Mode) and film composer Maurice Seezer.

Andy Ball

Andy has been playing the drums for 25 years. A jazz drummer foremost, he has a masters degree in jazz drums from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, and has been playing and teaching drums professionally for the past 12 years. He lives in London, where he currently has 45 private weekly students, and tours and performs across the UK and Europe. He’s performed at venues from the glitz of the Royal Albert Hall in London to the world famous Du Dec Lombards jazz club in Paris.
